10:50 PM EDT, 10/25/2021 (MT Newswires) -- UJU Holding (HKG:1948) secured the owner of video platform TikTok as cornerstone investor for its initial public offering that was launched Tuesday in Hong Kong, aiming to raise as much as HK$1.1 billion ($141.5 million).

The online marketing solutions provider is offering 120 million shares at HK$6.70 to HK$9.16 apiece, of which 12 million shares will be allotted to Hong Kong investors.

The issuer expects to determine its offer price on Oct. 29 and disclose the allocations on Nov. 5. It will start trading on the Hong Kong bourse on Nov. 8, according to a Tuesday filing.

Listing proceeds will go towards technology upgrades, content production enhancements, research and development, business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, as well as working capital.

UJU's two cornerstone investors committed to subscribe for $15 million worth of IPO shares, of which $10 million will be shouldered by TikTok owner ByteDance, backed by SoftBank Group (TYO:9984).

CMBC Securities, Guotai Junan, CLSA, CMB International, Haitong International, Valuable Capital, Essence International, CCB International, Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, SBI China Capital, BOCI Securities and Futu Securities are the joint bookrunners, global coordinators and lead managers of the deal.
